On behalf of the Sahel Cements company, RMT is designing and carrying out the electrical power & lighting and communications installations for their new production line. Launched in 2007, the project to create a second cement production line for the cement works located 60km from Dakar is currently in progress.

The project will require 15,000 hours of engineering and 100,000 hours of work on site. RMT is in charge of all the site’s electrical installations, both in terms of HVA / LV power & lighting as well as communications.

Therefore, no fewer than 11 6kV-400V – 1600 and 2500 kVAr transformers will be deployed, the whole fire detection system, centralised building management system, as well as the access, lighting and air conditioning services will be designed and carried out by RMT.
