RMT equips drinking water drilling stations in BENIN

The Benin national water company SONEB, has awarded RMT the contract to build and equip 38 pumping stations intended to reinforce the drinking water supply for the city of COTONOU and its surrounding towns.

The works involve building 15 new pumping stations and refurbishing 23 other stations – without any service disruptions. In order to do so, RMT will handle all the civil engineering work, the installation of 13km of HV lines, pole-top transformers, 8 km of LV lines, as well as all the hydro-mechanical equipment: immersed pumps, cast iron pipes, valves and fittings, water and flow meters, tanks preventing water hammer effect.

The electrical and hydro-mechanical engineering is carried out in Kehl, the erection and commissioning work is performed by the RMT-Benin teams who have now acquired real expertise in these fields of activity.
