Rural electrification in the Congo

RMT has won the contract for the rural electrification of the 4 district capitals in the Lékoumou administrative department of the Congo.
This project represents the continuation of the electrification of the country, where RMT has carried out similar work for the 6 capitals in the Pool administrative department.

In order to carry out this project which will make it possible to serve 550 new customers connected to the Congolese network réseau, RMT will build :

• three 1,000 kVA thermal power plants as well as a 33/20 kV transformer substation,
• 35 kms of MV 20 kV overhead network, a 16 MV/LV transformer substation as well as 64 kms of LV overhead network.

730 street lighting luminaires as well as 350 solar powered lights will complete the installation.
