Tema port extension project

Meridian Port Services (composed of Bolloré Transport & Logistics, APMT and Ghana Ports and Habour Authority) has chosen EIFFAGE via its subsidiaries Eiffage Génie Civil and RMT for the design-build of a 97.6 hectare port platform in Tema, Ghana.

The work for RMT includes the creation of a 12 MVA power generation plant and the installation of various equipment (power supply for gantry cranes, eRTG power supply, reefer power supplies, platform lighting, control systems, OCR system, etc.).

This project is the fifth to be carried out in Africa, after the Lomé port in Togo delivered in 2016, the Pointe Noire port in Congo in 2017 and the Freetown port in Sierra Leone, which will be completed in mid-2018.
