Port est thermal power plant inauguration

The Port Est thermal power plant on Reunion Island was inaugurated on Friday 11th October.

Mobilising 2,000 people and over 150 companies, this gigantic construction project (3 million hours of work) was completed in only 5 years.
For Clemessy, it is the successful completion of part of the « DOM project » contract won in late 2008, within the framework of a consortium of companies with MAN and EIFFAGE TP. Our teams are in charge of designing and building all the power & lighting and communications installations along with the over monitoring and control of the new power plants.

The next stage will be the delivery of two equivalent power plants, one in Martinique, the other in Guadeloupe
