RMT equips 7 drilling wells in Bénin

29.02.2016

RMT has been mandated by the company Sogea-Satom to equip 7 water drilling wells and refurbish a water treatment plant in Bénin.

The water produced by the drillings will make it possible to supply consumers during the refurbishing work and will increase the production capacity during the dry periods.
The works involve the engineering, supplies, installation and commissioning of the electrical and remote management equipment for the drilling wells as well as for the water treatment plant.

The electrical and hydro-mechanical engineering will be carried out in Kehl while our teams at RMT Bénin will take care of the erection and commissioning work on the installations.
In order to do so, 3.5km of 20kV HV lines, 5 km of LV lines with public lighting, 12 VLV and monitoring & control cabinets, h61 transformers along with a radio remote management system will be deployed.

RMT will also equip 2 drilling wells in the towns of Tanguieta and Tchaourou and will increase the pumping capacities on the Savé site, which was previously equipped in 2008.

All the work and equipment will be completed within a period of 8 months.
