Inauguration of the Ten Merina power plant, RMT confirms its expertise in photovoltaics

12.02.2018

Senegal's new Ten Merina solar power station was inaugurated on 16th January 2018 in the presence of the Senegalese Prime Minister Mahammed Boun Abdallah Dione and local authorities.

RMT, leader of a consortium comprised of Eiffage Sénégal and RMT Sénégal, completed this project in one year after the contract was signed in December 2016.
With a capacity of 30MW, the plant can meet the annual consumption needs of 200,000 people. RMT will also operate and maintain it for the duration of the concession, i.e. 25 years.

This renewed success confirms our position in the renewable energies field, after delivering the Cestas photovoltaic plant in France with a capacity of 300MWp and the one in Nouakchott, Mauritania with a capacity of 50MWp.
